Yvonne “Vonnie” Faith LeClaire, age 91, of Gladstone, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at Mission Point Health of Ishpeming.

Vonnie was born on June 7, 1932 in Ashland, WI, the daughter of Arne and Helen (Johnson) Morton. She grew up in Ashland and graduated in the class of 1950 from Ashland High School. She was united in marriage to Donald LeClaire on September 27, 1952 and together they shared many years of wonderful memories.

Vonnie worked for most of her life as an Avon dealer and also as a realtor. She also enjoyed gardening, crocheting, riding in the woods and cutting wood. She also enjoyed trips to Ostrander Lake with her family.

Vonnie is survived by her children Gary (Karen) LeClaire, Laurie (Davis) Aos, Scott (Patti) LeClaire, Ryan LeClaire, and Clifford (Mary) LeClaire; brother Bruce Morton; grandchildren Kory Aos, Brett Aos, Kyle Aos, Renae (Andrew) Cook, Bryan (Kelli) LeClaire, Craig (Michelle) LeClaire, Avery LeClaire, Mathew LeClaire, Nicholas LeClaire, Sarah LeClaire, Alicia (Tony) Tickler, and Zachary Ruleau; and great-grandchildren Christian, Malaina, Ayden, Gavin, Drew, Lia, Ailey, Cale, Grant, Nolan, Lucas, Sebastian, Eliza, Henry, and Victoria.

Vonnie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald LeClaire, brother Emery Morton, son-in-law Davis Aos, and sisters-in-law Midge Morton and Karen Morton.

Services honoring Vonnie will be held at a later date. She will be laid to rest in Fernwood Cemetery.

    I’m so sorry for loss. Vonnie and I had lots of good times at American Dream Realty. She was always a friendly person, everyone loved her. She loved to shop and laugh.
