William James Rogers Sr., age 87, passed away Tuesday evening, July 14, 2020, at his home in Gladstone with his family by his side.

Bill was born July 5, 1933, in Nahma, the son of William Jones and Barbara Marie (Krutina) Rogers. He was raised in Nahma and attended the Nahma schools. On July 19, 1958, Bill was united in marriage to the former Patricia Morgan, at All Saints Church in Gladstone, and together the couple made their home and raised their family in Gladstone. In 1964, Bill and Patricia built their home in Gladstone where they shared many wonderful years and many wonderful memories together. Bill was employed as a mechanic for the Operators Engineer Local Union #324 for many years. Patricia preceded Bill in death on August 25, 2007.

Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, going to camp and spending time with his family.

Son: William Rogers Jr.
Daughter: Thelma (Willy) Mannisto
Sister: Mary Kay Stoll
Sister in law: Joanne Tardiff
Grandchildren: Jessica Porras and Ryan (Jennifer) Porras
Also surviving are several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins

In addition to his parents William and Barbara Marie and his loving wife Patricia, Bill was preceded in death by:

Brothers: Joe and John Rogers
Sisters: Peggy Bushey and Betsy Roddy
Brothers in law: Dan Roddy, Frank Bushey, John Tardiff and Bill Stoll
Sister in law: Donna Rogers

Family will receive friends on Friday, from 2:30PM to 4:30PM, at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. Mass of Christian Burial will follow visiting hours, at 5:00PM on Friday, at All Saints Church in Gladstone, with Rev. Fr. Jamie Ziminiski officiating. Bill will be laid to rest in the Fernwood Cemetery in Gladstone. The Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Delta County are assisting with arrangements.
