Walter will truly be missed by me, Caleb, and am his other friends he made over the years. This is a sad time and I wish the best for his family.

I didn’t really know Walter myself, as he didn’t join my daughter Karmyn’s class at Rapid River, until 5th grade, I think. However, she spoke of him often. She said that he and her would talk about “stuff”. She said that she had told him that if he ever needed to talk to her, that all he needed to do is call or text. I sure wish he would have. I don’t know if it would have helped or not, but if anyone would have listened and been able to empathize with him, she could have. The loss of a child, is a pain that nobody in this world should ever have to endure, and I am so sorry that you have to. I have been praying for you and your family. God Bless

Walter was like a friend to me and I never heard anything bad about him I’m so sorry for you loss.

    Dear April,
I am reading A Time to Mourn, A time to Dance. It says “The death of a parent is a death of the past, but the death of a child is a death of the future.” You and Walter were robbed of his bright future. He was loved and cared for by so many, that must make you proud. Your journey without him will be painful. You are loved and cared for by so many also. I am thinking of how brave you were at such a young age. He never doubted your love. Only time will lessen the pain you are all feeling. I am so sorry for this overwhelming loss.

I always enjoyed your kind and wonderful manners when you would come to our home. My grandsons Bryan and Kyser will miss you.

April, our hearts break for what you are going through . Walter was that special young man any parent would love to have. His bright blue eyes will forever be with all those who knew him. He was your special child that came to our family when we needed him. I am positive Marilyn is guiding him in heaven . Love and hugs from Uncle Dan and Aunt Marilyn

I am so sorry, I only just heard about Walter. He was my friend at Rapid River schools and I moved away the summer before. He was so sweet and such a nice person to talk to. I was in tears when I found out. I’m so sorry for your loss.
