Walter F. Develski, age 88, of Escanaba, passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021, at Lakeview Assisted Living in Gladstone, holding his daughters hands and surrounded by his loving family. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, from 2 to 3:45 PM at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Escanaba. Military rites will begin at 3:45, and Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 4:00 PM with Rev. Fr. Fran DeGroot officiating. Walter will be entombed at Gardens of Rest Cemetery.

I’m so sorry to hear about Walt. He was one of my favorite customers at the bank. We had many long conversations about his service days, his wife who he visited at the cemetery weekly, his family and of course our shared enjoyment of the casino. I missed Walt dearly after I retired and asked my co-workers about him often. God bless you Walt and your family and friends you left behind.
