10 Tributes for “Victor LaCosse

Marilyn and family! I was so sad to hear about Victors passing. I found this poem and hope it may bring you some comfort. We often think of bygone days When we were all together The family chain is broken now , but memories will live forever. To us, he has not gone away Nor has he travelled far Just entered God

Dear LaCosse Family: Gary and I wanted to let you know how very sorry we were to hear about your loss of Victor. If there is anything we can do to help please let us know you are all in our prayers at this difficult time.

I know I’m several years late in sending my condolences but I just want to say to his family that Victor was the best foster brother one could have. We both came from same background in the UP as children, broken homes, but Victor got saved by Leo & Mae LaCosse. They treated me and my brother George like their own children. Always remember the great times together & working in the woods and driving home from Gladstone listening to the radio when Neil Armstrong walked on the moon in 69.
I’m sure Vic was a great husband to Marilyn, who I was with him when he met her in Michigamme. Had to be a supportive father & grandfather. Vic truly was one of a kind.
