Uncle Tom and Aunt Georgie have always been role models for me. I will always remember the bear rug that used to scare me when I was a little girl. Uncle Tom always made pancakes on a big griddle right at the table. Those were the best pancakes ever!
How I loved to hear Uncle Tom laugh and to see the sparkle in his eyes…I love him and Aunt Georgie so much…Love and prayers to Aunt Georgie and to all my cousins, their spouses and their children…I know all of you are better people because of the influence of Uncle Tom.
Love and prayers, Mollie and David Schubot

Please accept my condolences. I remember Tom as a respected colleague of my father Ernie. If my memory serves me, I still play cribbage on a board Tom made many years ago. My thoughts and prayers are for your family

Tom and Georgie’s “family” included everyone that entered their home or cabin. We had some wonderful times at the cabin and enjoyed Tom’s talents at story telling. His love and respect of nature remind us of God’s grace in providing for our needs. Tom’s talents and gifts were many, but none greater than the love that lives on in the family that he and Georgie have raised. We will miss Tom and send our love to the entire Safford family.

Dear Safford Family,
Mike & I wish to express our deepest condolences to all of you in this difficult time. Our prayers are withall of you.
I hold in my heart many warm memories of 4-H meetings and overnights at your home when I was ateenager. Your Dad was a strong guy but nice to be around. I remember him in his uniform and thought he looked very impressive.
Also, his woodworking projects always looked good. My brother Kerry still has a coffee table that he made under Tom’s direction.
Mrs. Safford please take care. I know you will have alot of support in your family.
Sincerely,
Mike & Sue Piller
