Terry Lee Green, age 71, of Perkins passed away on Monday, September 5, 2022 at the Pinecrest Medical Care Facility in Powers.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
The Green family is being assisted by the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone.

I grew up with Terry — we were in the same grade from kindergarten through graduation — and I really liked him. He had a great sense of humor and was very kind. I remember him asking me very politely if he could copy my accounting assignments — that’s the only one I can remember him asking about; there may have been others. When I was a nurse at St Francis, I was surprised to see Terry as one of my patients. He had just had surgery — I don’t remember if it was knee or foot surgery, since I had also been aware of his foot problems. When I greeted him in the morning, he said, “Boy, am I glad to see you! They’re trying to make me get out of bed.” I responded, “Terry, you know I love you and because I love you, you’re going to have to get up.” Just a couple weeks ago, I had asked for Terry’s address because I wanted to send him a card, expressing how much I liked him when I was a child. It must be over 40 years since I saw Terry; I don’t remember. Ah, time flies, and the well wishes and recounting good memories too late. My heart goes out to the family members. I & Steve my husband visited him at Pinecrest about 5 yrs ago. That was the last time we saw him. I know he is in a better place. I often think of him & wonder how he is. He will rest in peace now.
