Tammy Marie Veraghen, age 56, of Flat Rock passed away Saturday evening, October 3, 2020, at her home, surrounded by family.

Tammy was born May 23, 1964, in Manistique, MI, the daughter of Robert Geurtin and Patricia (Bouchard) Kaliszewski.
She was united in marriage to Ricky Veraghen August 12, 2006 in Stonington, MI.

Tammy was a nurse’s assistant with Home Health and worked for many deli’s, Meijer Grocery Store being her last.

She enjoyed being around the house spending time in the backyard, she loved going to camp. Tammy especially enjoyed antiquing with Rick.

Son: Greg Cook of Pontiac, MI
Stepchildren: Lindsey Rice of Escanaba, MI and Mike (Noelle) Lisenbery of Huntington Beach, CA
Sister: Elizabeth (Jay) Martin of Waterford, MI
2 Grandchildren: Addie and Tucker
4 Brother-in-law’s: Dale Veraghen, Dennis Veraghen, Joe (Pam) Veraghen, and Brian Veraghen.
3 Sister-in-law’s: Mary Dube, Lynn Veraghen, and Vicki Kolich.
Special Niece: Alichia
Special Dog: Zek
Numerous Aunts and Uncles
And several Nieces and Nephews

Tammy is preceded in death by:
Father: Robert Guertin
Father-in-law: Walter Veraghen
Mother-in-law: Theresea Veraghen
Maternal Grandparents: Avis and Alex Bouchard
And 2 Brother-in-laws

Family will receive friends Thursday, October 8, 2020 from 1:00 until 3:00 PM at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM. Tammy will be laid to rest in the Escanaba Township Cemetery. Appropriate face masks and the practice of social distancing is requested from the family.
