Sylvia, a dear, sweet person, will be much missed by us, her friends. She was always a cheerful hostess and loved to see us, even if we were not expected. She was quick to get out cookies and tea or even a homemade meal. She was a supporter of others and a quiet person in the background who made things happen. She enjoyed watching the ever changing scene in her backyard; the deer and fawns, the birds, the changing of the seasons. She bravely faced the many trips for the newest medications in hopes of helping herself or others. She maintained calmness in the face of discomfort and an uncertain future. We loved her and will miss her, but will treasure her memory in our hearts.
