To my Susie Q…….This last week has been unbearable for myself and many others who have known you and loved you. It was hard to say good-bye to you!!! I realized this morning – as everyone is leaving and trying to get on with their lives, this is the time you and I would lean on each other the most, and have been there for everything for each other – good and bad. I will treasure 30 plus years of memories of us together…..until we meet again. All the road trips to Milwaukee, bar tending together, riding to work together for the past twenty years, all of our Christmases together. I will NEVER forget you my sister and my friend. kiss Mom, Dad and Tommy for me. Please watch over me as I drive to work everyday – as you know what a chicken $&@$ I am. AND – I will keep my promises to you. love you always….

I have so many wonderful memories of Sue. We worked together at the Escanaba JC Penny store until I left in 1990. I am so sad to hear of her passing, she will be truly missed. Loved her sense of humor and great conversation. I pray her family will heal quickly in living through the memories that Sue was a part of. God Bless you all.

    Pete and Family,
What an emptiness we feel right now! Sue had the biggest heart of anyone – always a kind word, a gentle touch, and a dry sense of humor. I have truly never known a better person. We love you both (and Sue…I won’t forget my promise!).
