Attending school in Rock was like having a big family to share with and have fun with. Although I moved to Colorado my junior year, I still have many fond memories of Stosh and the rest of his classmates. I know he will be missed. My sympathies to his family.

I spent the first 18 years of my life with Stanley as my friend. We went all through school together, played together, and got into trouble together (we didn’t think it was trouble!) It was the best of times for boys growing up.

Our sympathy to his daughters and grandchildren.

To many of us a few years younger than he, who grew up in Rock, Stosh was a hero. His courage, patriotism and valor served as models of what we all would hope to be. His service to his country cannot ever be repaid and his impact on the community of Rock will not soon be forgotten.
Rest in Peace Stanley, you will be missed

Uncle Stanley will always be remembered as a great man, a great father, a great grandpa and a great uncle. I will always have great memories of Uncle Stanley at our camp and taking all of the kids tubing and water skiing. He always had a wonderful sense of humor and will be dearly, dearly missed by everyone in our family.
