My name is Jean Petersen, and I knew Shirley from working with her at Bishop Noa Home. She was a wonderful, caring person, and a lot of fun to work with. I have thought of her often over the years and know that she will be missed by all who knew her. Please know that I am praying for God to help you accept her death and ease the pain of your loss,.but she is in a better placenow. I believe that, and I know she believed it too. God bless you all.

We were shocked to learn of Shirley’s passing. We both graduated with her from Gwinn High School, class of 1953. She was such a pleasant, beautiful girl. We were so happy to see her and Wally a few years back at a function at the Arnold School. I’m sure you will all miss her greatly. Our thoughts are with you.
