Roberta passed away way to early but I know she is running in the fields with the Horses and Cats that she loved so much.

I’m going to miss our long talks, my friend. I will always cherish them, as well as the memories we share of childhood, teenage years and adulthood. My Christmas always wears the gorgeous decorations you made with your talented hands. I look up and see you back in Lake Superior and with your toes in the sand and a big smile on your face ❤️

Roberta was a stubborn mule. When you said you didn’t need help she gave it. When you said something she truly listened. She loved her mom and family so much. She loved her bead work and shared it with others. We met 27 years ago and I cannot imagine this world without her giving me hell. Roberta you are always my friend. Rest pain free sweet friend. You earned a great rest. Love you. & miss you!

My dear cousin Roberta – I am going to miss you dearly! You suffered every day & never complained – it makes me happy you are forever out of your wheelchair.

    Dear Roberta,
You held my hand when I mourned a dear friend. You were my strength when I had none. I will miss you and your spunky attitude.
Rest In Peace, sweet lady…until we meet again. Love you forever

I took care of Roberta when she lived in the senior homes over by me down Old State Road. I also took care of her mother until her passing peroberta you’re a stubborn woman a new what you wanted at a very nice and fair woman whom I enjoyed speaking with a lot. You were a person who had a lot of understanding and caring. You will be missed.

Roberta I met you when I started to take care of you on old state Rd. We became friends and I was with you when Casey died and we mourned together. I had just lost my cat Jasmine and you had just started your bead pictures and made me one of her for my birthday. It still hangs on the wall. You were so good at making crafts and taught me several that I still use today. I am glad that we stayed in touch even if it was by phone most of the time.. Will miss you.

I first met RoBeRtA on the phone through Community Action Agency, when she still lived in Georgia. I helped her coordinate her move to Escanaba and scheduled Aides to come in to assist her. Her fiesty demeanor was a challenge but I gave it right back to her. She loved Casey and Cody like children. She did beautiful bead work and many other crafts. Sometimes I would just pop in on her and scare her or cover her eyes and make her guess who I was. We would laugh a lot. May you rest in peace with no pain and enjoy your freedom. It was God’s will that we met. Until then! ❤️
