Robert M. Stockton, 71, of Hermansville, died Mon., March 12 at his home following a brief illness. He was born November 3, 1935 in Oneonta, Alabama to Edward and Owell Stockton, and was raised in Florida.
On January 16, 1957 he married the former Margie Gurgall, and they had three children. He served in the Marine Corps, and subsequently spent his professional career as an accountant. He is survived by his wife, Margie, son Robert E. Stockton and daughter June Stockton, all of Hermansville, daughter Julie Mallard of Escanaba, and two grandchildren, Kristin and Eric Mallard of Escanaba.
In accordance with his wishes, no funeral service will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be sent to Marquette General Hospital Home Health and Hospice of Escanaba, MI, 2500 7th Ave. S., Suite 101, Escanaba, MI 49829. The Skradski Funeral Homes of Delta County are assisting the Stockton family.

My mom & I knew Robert for many years. We worked with him at Gardinier & Cargill. He was always a very kind person to us. We’ll miss you Robert!
