I am so very sorry to hear about Bob’s passing. I’ve been around a lot of people who have passed away alone. I really see this as a gift from God when family members are present to say good bye and to help each other as one of our loved ones passes on to a life of eternity. Fritz passed away in 1981 with all of us around him. And Bob and Shirley was there the night before to be with mom when he was having surgery. It also helps to know you are in our thoughts and prayers. God bless you all.

Shirley, You and Bob could not have raised a better family and college roomate (Joe) for me (sometimes we boarded three Madden boys on weekends). A great deal of Bob’s attributes were passed on to his children. My college days were blessed with a good friend from a great family. Please know that our thoughts are with you all.
