Robert E. Leisner, age 58, of Flat Rock passed away peacefully at home due to natural causes on Monday, February 27, 2023.

Rob was born September 10, 1964 in Rockford, IL, the son of Harold Jr. and Cheryl (Severinsen) Leisner. He attended and graduated from Escanaba Area Schools Class of 1983.

Rob married the love of his life, Pamela Miron on September 13, 1986 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Flat Rock. Together they raised their 5 kids and made their home in Flat Rock.

Rob was a one of a kind man and always worked hard for his family. His infectious smile and “Leisner lean,” will be missed by all. He was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and NASCAR fan. A perfect weekend for Rob was camping at Camp 7 with his family and endless Busch light. Rob was also an outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and ice fishing. His true pride was being a Dad and Papa Rob to his 6 Grandchildren.

Rob was currently employed at Engineered Machine Products and spent the last 25 years there. Prior, he worked for Wilbert Burial Vault in Escanaba and Robinson Furniture.

In addition to his loving wife, Pam, Rob is survived by:

5 Children: Mitchell (Brittany) Leisner of Escanaba, MI, Jamie (Jay) Grabowski of Gladstone, MI, Jenna (Jake) Eastin of Flat Rock, MI, Marissa (Ethan) Nault of Peshtigo, WI. and Caitlyn (Austin) soon to be Wicklund of Escanaba, MI

Grandchildren: Vale, Paxton, Brody, Brooks, Laken and Lainey.

Parents: Harold and Cheryl Leisner of Hyde, MI

Brother: Don (Debbie) Leisner of Escanaba, MI

Mother and Father-in-law: Gerald (Jean) Miron of Cornell, MI

Numerous Sisters and Brothers-in-law

And several Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Rob was preceded in death by:

Maternal and Paternal Grandparents, Uncle Gary Leisner and Brother-in-law, Dennis Mulzer and numerous Aunts.

Family will receive friends Friday, March 3, 2023 from 2:00 until 6:30 PM at the Skradski Family Funeral Home in Escanaba. Vigil prayers will conclude the visitation at 6:30 PM. Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 10:30 AM on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Flat Rock with Rev. Fr. Sebastian Chacko officiating. The Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Delta County are assisting the Leisner family.
