Robert H. Larsen, age 83, of Gladstone (formerly of Rapid
River) passed away Friday May 2, 2014 at the Pine Haven Rest Home in Gladstone where he had been a resident for the past 10 years.

Robert was born October 22, 1930 in Kenosha, WI the son of Ben and Anna (Bergman) Larsen. He was raised
in Kenosha where he graduated from High School. Robert served his country in the U.S. Army Air Force from 1948 to 1952. Upon his honorable discharge, Robert worked
as a custodian at the Kenosha Unified School District #1. He retired in 1989 and moved to Rapid River.

Robert enjoyed his retirement raising chickens and going to
the casino. He loved taking trips on the
Greyhound Bus and riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. He also liked to talk about the convertibles
he owned over the years.

Survivors include 2 nephews, 2 nieces and his special friend
of 15 years, Edith Cota of Manistique.

In addition to his parents, his wife, Patricia, and brother
Walter preceded Robert in death.

    The Service Guild of Memorial United Methodist Church will miss visiting with “Bob” very much. We always enjoyed hearing about his life because every month he told us something new about himself. Bob was absolutely one of our favorite people to visit. We very are sorry for your loss….and ours.
