Raymond T. Kohnert, age 40, of Gladstone, passed away Friday, April 29, 2022 at UP Health Systems in Marquette.
Ray was born December 27, 1981 in Escanaba, MI, the son of Thomas and Anita (Burch) Kohnert. He graduated from Gladstone High School, Class of 2000.
Ray was currently working for Engineered Machine Products in Escanaba and was previously employed with Clare Bedding for many years. He was an avid Packer fan and a very proud uncle to his niece and nephew. He had a generous heart and an amazing sense of humor.
Ray is survived by:
Sister: Shannon (Chris Polequin) Kohnert of Escanaba, MI
Significant Other: Regina Thompson of Escanaba, MI and her children Tylor, Kaidyn, and Amara
Half Siblings: Heather and Jason Kohnert
Niece and Nephew: Myka and Dominic Polequin.
And numerous aunts, uncles and cousins
Ray is preceded in death by his parents.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, July 2, 2022 from 1:00 until 5:00 PM at the Gladstone Pavillion directly across from the Michigan State Police Post in Gladstone
