Phyllis Jean Boucher, age 83, of 1416 Stephenson Avenue, Escanaba, MI passed away Monday afternoon, July 1, 2013 at the Christian Park Health Care Center in Escanaba following a brief illness.

Phyllis was born July 22, 1929 in Gladstone, MI the daughter of Joseph and Evelyn (Swanson) Darion. She was raised in Gladstone where she was a 1947 graduate of Gladstone High School.

Phyllis was united in marriage to Donald R. Boucher on December 29, 1948 at the St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Escanaba. They resided in Iowa while Don attended Iowa State College. They returned to Escanaba in 1957 where they raised their 6 children.

Phyllis was a member of the St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church and the V.F.W. and AMVETS Auxiliaries. She was an avid collector, collecting antiques, dishes, silverware, stamps and coins. She also enjoyed
