Orville “Orv” Larscheid, age 74, of 1635 16th Avenue South, Escanaba, died Wednesday, August 8, 2007, at his hunting camp in Garden.
Orv, as he was fondly remembered, was born February 14, 1933, in Nahma, the son of Arthur and Marie (Edwards) Larscheid. He was raised in Nahma and attended and graduated from the Nahma school system. In 1953, Orv enlisted in the United States Army and was stationed at Fort Bliss, TX, during the Korean War Conflict. He was honorably discharged from the Army in 1955, at which time, Orv returned to Escanaba where he acquired a position for the Harnischfeger Corporation working in the company

Randy and family, I was saddened to hear of Orv’s passing. I have many fond memories of Orv from the Elk’s. Please know that Sharon and I are thinking of all of you at this difficult time.
