Nancy L. Darion, age 72, of 523 Michigan Avenue, Gladstone, died Tuesday morning December 26, 2006 at the St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba.
Nancy was born February 5, 1934, in Gladstone, the daughter of Joseph and Evelyn (Swanson) Darion. She was raised in Gladstone and attended and graduated from the Escanaba High School in 1954. Following high school and throughout the majority of her life, Nancy was self employed as a domestic worker in the Gladstone and Escanaba communities. Nancy

“Hey Nancy, see any Saturday matinees at the Rialto theater lately?” I would kid her at the store or the gas station. She would smile! I was part of the “eastender” gang when we lived at grandpa Latimer’s, 707 Minnesota Avenue.
