0 Tributes for “Mildred Larsen

Hello, I just wanted Mrs. Larson’s family to know what a great lady she was. 1978 was a memorable year for me because she had a cousin (Karen Muir) stay for that summer and she introduced us and we became great friends that summer. She always had treats for us, took funny picures of us (I still have them!)and let us do whatever over at her house. She was a really sweet lady! I was only 13 at the time but it sure was a fun summer because of her!

I wanted to express my sympathy to your family. Mid was a wonderful lady that I knew from church and employment. She gave me my first job at Ben Franklin store. Her frienship with my Mom “Nooney” will always be cherished. We will always remember her great smile and hugs.

    Dear David,

Your mother was always one of our favorite people in Gladstone and we tried to visit her whenever we returned. We loved her enthusiasm for everything. She always had a ready smile and was genuinely considerate of everyone. She was also very kind to our daughters as they were growing up and we were neighbors.

Peace to her and God’s comfort to you.

We have many fond memories of Mid and Marv shopping at The Star Market. They liked their butterscotch and chocolate pudding mixed together. Mid was always thinking about how she could make a child’s birthday celebration special, by buying different kinds of candy bars and packaged candy to create a theme for that child. They were truly great people and what they did and accomplished in their lifetimes will always be remembered.

    Our sympathy to Mid’s family.
