Though I only had the pleasure of knowing Michael about 10 years, visiting with him was one of my many reasons to come to Escanaba. He was not only my Father-in-laws best friend, was like a brother to me. He never missed ensuring he saw Irene and I when we came to town to see mom and dad. His laugh and memories will live forever in my heart! God bless his family in this hour and may they know they are in our hearts and prayers!

Jan & I want to extend our deepest sympathy to you and your family. This was the first we heard that Mike was even sick, so his passing comes as a great shock to us. Mike was a good neighbor and friend and we enjoyed all of our chats with him and you. Life will be different without Mike around for sure, but “underneath are the ever-lasting arms” where we can all look for comfort.

Mike — a true friend to so many. He loved people and everyone always felt so welcome in his and Loita’s home. He was honest, caring and always wanted the best for everyone. He would gladly help anyone in need and gave of himself so others could benefit from his work. Our hearts go out to Loita and the whole family. This recent journey has been too difficult. May God’s comfort and love surround you. May you find peace and rest in the Lord Jesus in the days to come and lean on God’s strength daily. With our Love and Prayers,
