Mercedes Peterson

Mercedes Daigneault Peterson, age 86, of Escanaba passed away Friday evening, March 9, 2007 at the Bishop Noa Home in Escanaba where she was a resident. She was born March 24, 1920 in Schaffer, MI to Emanuel and Leola (Patton) Daigneault. Mercedes graduated from Escanaba High School in 1937. After high school she moved to lower Michigan and spent the majority of her life in Algonac and Montague. For the last 10 years of her life she resided in Escanaba. Mercedes worked for a few years as a certified nursing aide at the old Bishop Noa Home caring for the elderly. She was also a member of the VFW Women
