Mary Jean Tufnell, age 85, of Kipling passed away on
Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at the Christian Park Health Care Center in Escanaba.
Mary was born April 22, 1928 in Gladstone, the
daughter of Joseph and Mary Rose (Brock) Anderson. She was raised in Gladstone and graduated from Gladstone High School, Class of 1946. She was united in

My sisters and I got to know Jeanne at Christian Park. She sat at our mom’s table for meals. We saw her every day. She like to talk about Kipling and the fun she had. We loved her like a second mom and we will miss her. I called her Jeanne Beanee. May she fly with the butterflies in heaven.
