I will never forget the time I spent with Mike at Pinecrest. Mike was one of the residents I would visit during my shifts as a receptionist at Pinecrest from 1994-1996. He always had a smile for me and a great story to tell. He was such an intelligent and gentle man. He was a very special person to me and I will never forget him. My heart goes out to his friends and family. He will be greatly missed.

I had the pleasure of spending time with Mike when I worked at PMCF, he was such a caring and kind man. We used to watch “Finland Calling” on Sunday mornings and he always like butter in his oatmeal. I know he is running through the fields in heaven for all the years he was not able to run here.

It seems impossible but I worked at Pinecrest 35yrs.ago and the one person I have never forgotten is Mike. What a wonderful person,I am so sorry for your loss.It is just a blessing to know that now his body is whole again, I can just see him running up and down those streets of gold. My prayers are with you. I grew up in Rapid River, on US 41.

Mike was a part of our family here at pinecrest. He will be greatly missed. He maintained dignity & as much independence as he was able to throughout the many years he was here with us. He truly loved to talk about his home in Trenary. He was deeply saddened at recent loss of both sister & brother “Rudy” We want family & friends to know he did not die alone. We loved Mike & will not forget him.
