Margaret L. Anderson , age 88, of Gladstone and currently residing at Christian Park Village in Escanaba, passed away peacefully Friday morning, September 2, 2011, at the St. Francis Hospital, in Escanaba.
Margaret was born November 18, 1922, in Gladstone, the daughter of Leonard and Elsie (Soderstrom) Elquist. She was raised on her grandparents farm in Perkins, (the Soderstrom farm), and was a graduate of the Perkins High School. On May 23, 1942, Margaret was united in marriage to Irving Anderson, in Louisiana while Irving was serving in the military, and together the couple made their home and raised their family in Gladstone. Margaret worked primarily as a homemaker throughout the course of her life and spent the majority of her life in Gladstone. Irving preceded her in death on October 9, 1993.
