Lou was my first and best frind when I moved to Gladstone. She was the “Mom” I needed and always there for me and my girls. I have many happy memories of times spent with her and her family. I have thought of her,and all of you often over the years and was very happy I got to see her on my last visit to Gladstone. Having just lost my Dad I know how much this hurts. I am thinking of all of you with Love and hope you find comfort in your memories of a wonderful Mom and a great lady. Marlys Beach-Ball

    To Lu’s Family,
Lucille was simply one of God’s greatest creations. She was love, gave love and received love. I worked with Lu at the Delta Reporter and she made every day a delight. She was a mentor, a friend, a mom, a sister and, yes, a little rascal sometimes. She laughed and made us laugh so often and I can still hear that laugh. I am sad to say goodbye to Lu but at the same time I feel great joy that she will be reunited with her beloved Joe. What a glorious, sparkling reunion that will be and I feel happy when I think of them together. Also she is reunited with her Lord and He will be so happy to reward her for her beautiful life. My sympathy to Lu’s family who she loved so much. You and she are in my prayers. Rest in peace Lu and please watch over us. I love you.

Scotty and the entire Bergeon family,
My sincere condolences on the loss of your mother. She was a joy to be around. I remember her from my parents annual Golf/Bocce get together and I also got to enjoy “Lu’s” company when I drove her and my mom to Marquette a couple of years ago. She will be missed.

    Randy,
I want to extend my deepest sympathy on the loss of your mom.
I will certainly miss her at St. Thomas bingo and also Eagles bingo. I’ll always remember her coming in just before we get started and saying “hi Andy”, to me. She is one in a million!!!! I’m glad I had the opportunity to know her. We always talked about Josh too. She was very proud of him and loved him very deeply. Hang on to your memories with her.
