Louis Marohnic Jr. age 86, of 415 S. 4th Street, Gladstone, passed away Saturday afternoon July 14, 2012 at the Christian Park Health Care Center in Escanaba.
Louis was born December 24, 1925 in Gladstone the son of Louis and Salina (Disotelle) Marohnic Sr. He served his country with U.S. Navy.
Louis is survived by:
Daughter: Anita Marohnic of Ann Arbor, MI
Brothers: Albert and John Marohnic
Sister: Florence Honkonen
Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins
Louis was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Margaret (Beauchamp).
Graveside services with military rites conducted by the Gladstone American Legion August Mattson Post #71 will be held on Friday July 20, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Fernwood Cemetery in Gladstone. A complete obituary will be forthcoming. The Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Escanaba and Gladstone are assisting the Marohnic family.
