Lloyd M. Pirlot, age 90, of Wilson, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 22, 2023 at Bishop Noa Home in Escanaba.

 

Lloyd was born April 19, 1933, in Wilson, the son of Mathew and Mae Pirlot. Lloyd grew up and attended the University of Wisconsin. In 1957 Lloyd was united in marriage to the former Lee DuCleaux in Ewen, Michigan, and together they shared 66 wonderful years. Lloyd also served in the United States Army during the Korean War and was honorably discharged. He was a devoted parishioner of St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Spalding and served as a Eucharistic minister. He also belonged to the vintage tin car club, enjoyed hunting, and waterskiing. Lloyd worked for 38 years in finance and retired from TransSouth Finance as the Vice President. Most of all Lloyd loved his family. He even coached his boys in little league from when they were five years old until high school. He will be truly missed by many.

 

Lloyd is survived by his loving wife, Lee, his children; Tracy (Joe) Bauer and their children Joe and Alex, Todd (Jennifer) Pirlot and their children Jacob and Olivia, great-grandson Cooper, and David (Tonya) Pirlot and their children David and Bonnie, brother Gerry Pirlot, and sister Darlene (Glen) Olson.

 

Lloyd was preceded in death by his son, Michael Pirlot, his parents Mathew and Mae, and siblings Laura Gray and Jeanette Beauchamp.

 

Mass of Christian Burial honoring Lloyd will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at 2 PM Eastern Time at St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Spalding with Rev. Fr. Benny Mathew officiating.

    Lloyd was my cousin who I will miss chatting with in Walmart. The bond we shared was we had the same birthday. I will miss his smile and gentle ways. He was a very friendly person. RIP…..I’m so sorry for your loss, Lee

    I’m so sorry for you loss. Now he is with his two sister. May he rest in peace. May he be in the hands of the lord. Wish I could be with you during this time. I had back surgery the same day. I can’t get around for a few weeks. May god be with all of.

    Lloyd was my uncle and as a fellow vet I appreciate his time served honorably in the military. My sympathy to all his family at this time.
