Lawrence “Larry” John Gagner, Jr., age 82, of Gladstone, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Christian Park Village.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 from Noon until 1:00 PM at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. A funeral service will take place at 1:00 PM with Pastor Aaron Anderson officiating. Larry will be laid to rest at Gardens of Rest Cemetery at 2:00 PM with Military Honors being presented by the Gladstone American Legion.
The Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Delta County are assisting the Gagner family.

    Great Mentor and Friend, He will be missed by all that knew him. He was a collector of anything marked Marble’s and Marble Arms of Gladstone, Michigan. He was very knowledgeable of their History writing many stories about Webster Marble and workers inside the factory .He displayed the Very First Webster Marble Museum in the Rialto Building. His Best friends included 50 plus year Marble’s Employees Chester Swanson and Robert “Bob’ Young. He was the Co Founder and Charter Member of the Marble Plus Knife Club. He also was one of the first members of the Delta County Computer Club. His Father was a trucker and later owned the Kipling Bar where Larry Grew up with many memories and stories. I was Glad I got to know him and call him my Friend. Rest in Peace Larry. You will be Missed.

    Met Larry through our church. I would go and visit him at his home, and enjoyed his knowledge of Marble Arms. Over the course of knowing LarryI I purchased from him one of the Marble’s gun cleaning kit in his collection for my husband. When he moved to Christian Park venjoyed a few apples (Macintosh). We will be out of town for his funeral. Our condolences to his family and friends. Pete and Cindy Brock
