I was so sorry to hear about Lauritz. He had such a positive influence on me. From the first time we sat together and read his flying cadet yearbook, I was convinced that I also wanted to fly for the Air Force. I thank Lauritz for helping me make one of the best decisions of my life.So long, old friend.

My prayers and thoughts are with you, Mrs. Hough, Kay and Ann and family. I was so excited to meet and know Ann and reestablish connections with your family. I was hoping to meet Mom and Dad Hough again after all these years. I spent time in your home during the Manistique years. Good memories. May God comfort you in this sudden loss. Know of my love and prayers.

    Dear Pat:
Patti Jo and I were so sorry to read of Larry’s passing. It was a fixture of class, friendship, and good humor on the our block.
I know that my mom and dad treasured his friendship and enjoyed his stops at the house during his walks.
Please know that Patti Jo and I are thinking of you and your family and offer our sincerest sympathy.

    Dear Pat and family,
Our prayers and condolences go out to you in this time of loss.
Larry was a close friend and mentor while working with him some 28 years. He was always a reputable, honorable, and honest person; respectable in every way. Larry leaves a legacy in his contribution to the documentation of the quality, quantity, and movement of the water resources of Michigan.
We were also members of the Michigan National Guard where Larry was an officer and a gentleman. So long old friend.
