Died April 27, 2019

Keith E. Farrell, age 83, of Brampton, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 27, 2019 at the Christian Park Healthcare Center in Escanaba.

Keith was born April 9, 1936 the son of Ira and Carmen (Greenless) Farrell. He retired in his 50’s with RJ Reynolds Company after a successful career in sales. Keith was united in marriage April 14, 1979 to Linda Worden in Escanaba. Together they enjoyed a life of travel and spending time outdoors hunting (animals, mushrooms) and fishing activities. They even participated in many fishing tournaments. As a couple they were proud of their active involvement in AA as well as their long-term sobriety.

Throughout his life, he had many interests. You could find him at the golf course several days a week, where he would play golf, practice, or visit, right up until he became ill. He worked briefly as a professional golf caddy in Hawaii and Florida after retirement. He was an avid horseback racing fan, which included handicapping, betting, reading and watching the races every Saturday. If not golfing or betting the horses, Keith would be outside hunting, fishing, sitting in the garden, attending to the wild animals that came into the yard. Keith’s true joy in life was spending time with his family and friends.
