June Thelma Garska, 88, of 10308 U.4 Lane, passed away Friday afternoon March 6, 2009 at the Christian Park Village in Escanaba where she was a resident.June was born the daughter of William and Ella (Belanger) Hoover on June 28, 1920 in Clay Township, MI. June has been a resident of Rapid River since 1970.
Among the survivors is a granddaughter Michelle Crociata and great granddaughter, Sondra Crociata of Springhill, FL
June was preceded by her husband Clayton Garska Sr. and her son Clayton Garska Jr.

I can remember lots of things about June. I remember birthday parties, the camper, the dogs, all the food and her smile. I am so very sorry Michelle. I realize she has not been the same person for awhile now but she was still your grandma.. May she rest in peace.
