Joyce was my high school sweetheart and I still have fond memories of her today. She had a friend named Lorene Jenkins, and when those two were together you never knew what to expect. High school in those days was much different. There wasn’t all the sex and violence like today. We were quite good kids and naive. We actually listened to our parents and teachers. We still had a lot of fun together. Joyce will always be sorely missed. My heart goes out to Mike and family.

Joyce was my girlfriend during our last two years in high school. She had a wonderful outgoing personality and a positive outlook on life. I joined the Navy in 1958 and after that I lost track of her. I’m very glad I came upon this page. She will always remain in my heart and memories.

Joyce was a wonderful, courageous and dedicated woman. I will remember her as an outstanding wife to Mike, with unconditional love for her children and a blessed Grandma. Joyced loved her family so very much… and her family loves her so much. Me too. Joyce, you lived a great life and you leave us too soon, but with a legacy of love. Thank you Joyce for being a super example to all of us as to how to live and love. I will miss you.
