I send my deepest sympathy to the family of Jeanne Cain. I was saddened to read Jeanne’s obituary in the Bryan Times. I teach second grade at St. Patrick Catholic School in Bryan. Jeanne came to school weekly to read with my class. She was a warm, sweet and wonderful volunteer. Jeanne was loved by the many students she touched during her years she volunteered at school. Jeanne always made sure to attend the programs and plays that the children put on. Jeanne was the “grandmother” that some of the children did not have in their lives. I will always remember her laugh and sense of humor as she would listen to the kid’s stories! My deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Jeanne.
