Janie M. Ward went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 5th, 2006 at St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba where she was a patient for the past seven days, just exactly one week shy of her 97th birthday. She was an outstanding example of a born-again Christian woman and she touched so many lives in so many ways.
Janie was born March 12th 1909 in Blaney, MI, the daughter of Archie and Margaret (Young) Belanger and was a 1927graduate of the Rock River Twp. High School. Janie resided most of her life in Gladstone and also had lived in the Masonville area for a period of time. She most recently resided at
