Harold Raymond Lamberg, age 86, of Kipling, passed away Monday January 23, 2012 at the Christian Park Health Care Center in Escanaba.
Harold was born March 4, 1925 in Gladstone the son of George and Elsie (Holm) Lamberg. He was raised in Gladstone where he graduated from Gladstone High School. Harold served his country in the U.S. Navy where he was stationed on the USS Yorktown during WW II. Following his honorable discharge from the Navy, he returned to Gladstone, where he worked and retired from the City of Gladstone.
Harold was a member of the All Saints Church in Gladstone, Gladstone American Legion Post #71 and AMVETS. His hobbies included camping and spending the winter months in Florida with his longtime companion Martha Peloza.
Survivors include:
Brother: David (Barbara) Lamberg of Gladstone
Sisters: Dorothy Olson of Neenah, WI, Gladys (Ted) Schwandt of Neenah, WI, Joyce Lamberg of Gladstone and Linda (Allen) Erickson of Ford River, MI
Numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, his longtime companion, Martha, and 4 brothers, Leroy, Maynard John, Arthur and Donald, preceded Harold in death.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at a later date at the All Saints Church in Gladstone. The Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Escanaba and Gladstone are assisting the Lamberg family.

To Harold’s family,My sisters and I met Harold as he sat at our mom’s table for lunch at Christian Park. He really likes his ice cream. Watching him fail broke our hearts. His pain is gone now and may God hold him in his arms until you meet again in Heaven.
