The chicken soup was made with love, and that makes it part of the healing. It warms the tummy and surely the soul. I never knew your dad, but I am so proud to know his son. You are an inspiration to many. I treasure our friendship, Duane I saved some chicken soup and home made bread.

I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love.” – Leo Buscaglia

My thoughts and prayers are with you in the passing of Great-Uncle Gordon. I will always remember the family reunions and all of the fun activities we used to do on the Stonington Peninsula when the Peterson Clan would get together. These are memories I cherish. Although I will not be able to attend services tomorrow, know that my thoughts and prayers will be with you all.

    With love,
