Dear Mary and family,It is hard to say good-bye to a mom, even though she had a long life. I learned of her death as I was traveling to Holt to see Dan and his family.
I remember that she rode back to Escanaba with Martin one time. She seemed like a special lady.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Mary: I would not have known about your mom’s passing if my mother, age 89, hadn’t seen it in the paper. She remembered your mom from high school and also that I stayed with your family during my first semester at Bay in 1964.
It seems as though your mother lived a full, long life but it is still so difficult to lose a parent. I am sorry for your loss.
I wanted you to know that someone from many years ago was thinking of you during this sad time.
Tom joins me in sending sincere sympathy to you and yours,

So sorry for your loss and we can’t be with you. We are both sick and don’t want to get anyone else sick
