15 Tributes for “Glenn “Glenny” King

Jeff, I am deeply sorry to hear of the sudden & heartbreaking loss of your dad. I wish I were able to attend the service on Friday to express my condolences in person.
I will always treasure the day Jeff called his dad to ask on my behalf to ask how to make rutabaga for Thanksgiving, and Glenn was so helpful and enthusiastic–it made my day.
I wish I could help your aching hearts–please know that I am holding you all close. My deepest sympathy to the entire King family.

So sorry for your loss, my Deepest Sympathy to Glenn’s family… You will be missed Glenn. Sending prayers

I’m so sorry for your loss of Glens presents here on earth. He was such a kind man. He surely will watch over you and keep you safe

Glen was one of the funniest, most witty people that I ever knew. His laughter was from the heart and always genuine! Growing up he was “the big brother” and played the role (s) of Mother and Father to the younger siblings after they’d passed. He will be missed by so many, a talented and loving man gone too soon…fly high Glenny

Remembering the good times when we were younger and carefree:
Glen gave me my first driving lesson (and the only one he gave me)halfway down our side road and about 50 ft on the main road when I heard “stop I’ll drive-“-I didn’t know I wasn’t supposed to move the wheel back and forth??
The many Sunday afternoon trips to town to get our “last” xtra lg ice cream sundae before we started our diets every Monday.
The trips he took to GB with my Mom and sisters when I was in beauty school so I could get my quotas in- (maybe that’s why he lost his hair on top)- the scalp treatments were supposed to work!
The times he helped move me in and out of my apartments
Last but not least the Easter basket with “chocolates”he sent( unbeknown to me)- he paid a little neighbor boy to pick rabbit turds from his barn-
And then we grew up…… Thanks for some good memories Glen!

Glenn always held a very special place in our hearts. Bob always spoke kindly of his younger brother. My prayers for you Ann, Kristi, and Jeff and will continue. I love you. ❤️

May God give you strength during this difficult time. Glenn was such a wonderful, kind man that not only touched us, but many. May the wonderful memories that you have give you strength and peace in the future. God Bless to all.

Dear friend will miss you deeply. I will always remember our good times together and being there for each other through thick and thin. Will see you on the flip side and hopefully you will greet me when we meet again. You will be sadly missed.

It ‘s a shock to hear of Glenns passing. We all worked hard at the Bridal Palace, but we had a lot of fun with our antics. Remembering those times brings a smile to me. He will always be remembered. My prayers are with you folks. Judy Keller

    Jeff and Kristi:
We are so sorry for your loss. Jeff, keep the memories of your dad in your heart, and he will live on forever there.
Michael and Amy Demers (Kristi’s uncle).
