Francis David Finlay, age 82, of 1620 9th Avenue South, passed away early Tuesday morning, June 21, 2011, at his home in Escanaba.
Francis was born May 30, 1929, in Marquette, the son of David and Flossie (Martyn) Finlay. Francis was raised in Marquette and was a 1947 graduate of the Marquette schools. In September of 1947, Francis enlisted in the United States Army National Guard before eventually returning to Marquette where on August 11, 1962 he was united in marriage to the former Helen McLaughlin at St. Peter
