Frank Baccki, age 80, of 5455 27.5 Rd; Gladstone (Brampton Twp.) died peacefully in his sleep Sunday morning, April 9th, 2006 at home.
Frank was born May 9th, 1925 in New Haven Connecticut the son of Fillipo and Anna (Buonaguiso) Baccki

and resided in Connecticut most of his life until relocating to Delta County in 1991.

Frank served his country during World War II with the US Army and fulfilled his duty with distinction in the European Theater in Normandy, Northern France, the Rhineland, and the Ardennes.

During his working life, he was primarily employed as a truck driver for Guyott Co. in New Haven until his retirement.

Gardening, bowling, hunting, motorcycling, going to the dog-track, and bird-watching where hobbies and past-times Frank thoroughly enjoyed.

Frank Baccki survivors include:

1 Son- Frank (Barbara) Baccki of Taylor, MI

1 Daughter- Lillian (Rodger) Day of Brampton, MI

2 Brothers- Tony Baccki of South Carolina and Phillip Baccki of Connecticut

9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and numerous special nieces and nephews, including John Baccki of Arlington, Vermont.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of many years, the former Angelina Sansone, in 1984.

Graveside services will be held in July at All Saints Cemetery in North Haven, Connecticut and further information will be announced at that time.
