Gram, we love and miss you so much already. Thank you for everything you have taught me and for helping shape me into the woman I am today. I wish Baby O could have met you but we will have lots of stories to tell him/her very soon. We will think of you when we are playing cards and watching Wheel of Fortune. 🙂

One of my earliest memories from 60 plus years ago is that warm and welcoming smile of your mother in Her Kitchen. Her caring personality raised a wonderful family. Evie was a great mom to many and will be remembered with Love.

So many wonderful memories of growing up best friends with the Creten family. My condolences to Evie’s extended family. I’ll never forget the generosity extended to me as a child growing up, the warmth and hospitality of being welcomed into their home and the beautiful spirit of Evie.

To the family of Aunt Evie – Our heartfelt sorrow in your mom’s passing. Wonderful fond memories of years past at your mom’s house. Loved the smell coming from her kitchen when we visited. Lots of fun times cherished!

Patti, Don, Charley, Tom, and Sister Jo Ann: Please accept my sympathy and deepest expression of sorrow on the passing of your wonderful mother. She will be sadly missed, but all of those wonderful memories you will have for the rest of your lives. She will be in our thoughts and prayers….what a Christmas she will have in heaven with the Uncle Joe and the rest of the crew…She was so gracious after our Family Reunion in 1982…We closed down the ski lodge and she opened up her home to all of us until the wee hours of the night. It is one of my best memories of spending time with my dad’s family. I shall always cherish that. Cyndi Creten Fisher
