Lou, your presence touched our family in many ways. As a Step Father your guidance and direction was offered when needed. As a friend, your conversation was engaging and meaningful. As a helper and giver your time was always available to help out when needed. We will always miss you and our thoughts and prayers are with you. I am blessed to have known you. RIP Lou

I cannot express how hard it was today to not be at my grandfathers funeral. I am one of his step grand daughters and could not make it up there. The day my grandpa was buried is was my birthday which made it harder. I remember every time as a child I would go visit him and he would call me his precious. I’m so sorry grandpa for not seeing you in so many years, the hardest thing is saying goodbye to you. I love you.

To all of Lou’s Family. This man touched so many lives and a leader of many, who loved him.He had that little smile that showed he approved of what was going on . He will be missed at Two Birch Camp, but there in spirit. It’s so good to hear that he excepted the Lord and is hunting in heaven with my Dad together.

Sincerest condolences for the loss of a loved one. My grandfather was Moe Gould, a friend Lou’s for the better part of a life time. I may not know how they met but I will always remember him as Uncle Lou. Kind, generous and always good for a laugh.
In the cabin that they built together, I remember there was a wooden hand made sign that said “Lou n’ Moe… Cum n’ Go”. As a young child I didn’t realize that it was so clever.
Regretably my mother Amy Gould and I will not be able to attend the services tomorrow. March 13 is Moe’s birthday as well. I guess now they can spend eternity doing all those things they loved to do.

Joanie, Denny and I have had Dan keep us posted as to Lou’s trials. He endured so much before his passing. You mush be exhausted also. We wish we could have been there with you. Your family assuredly has given you the strength to get though all of this. We truly loved Lou. He was a good friend. I’m glad we got to see you both recently and got hugs. We love you, Joanie. You and yours are in our thoughts and prayers.
