I worked with Erma at the bank in Gladstone- she always had a good attitude and great smile- She often talked about her son and was so proud of him. I am sure she will be greatly missed. She had a heart of gold. Sorry for your loss

My sincere condolences at Erma’s ‘home-going’…it seems the longer we have our loved ones with us, the greater the loss! As a very young girl attending the Bethel Evangelical Free Church in Gladstone, my sister Margaret and I were so privileged and blessed to have sat under the ministry of Erma Erickson (Vietzke) and Hazel Strom during Childrens’ Church while morning worship was taking place upstairs…that was the foundation of my Christianity, having given my heart to the Lord at the age of 8 yrs. And you, Marie, was instrumental as our director in advancing my opportunity to play my coronet in the church orchestra…may God continue to be your joy and inspiration, as He is mine.!
