To cousin Erick, thought about often but have not seen for years, at last at peace, as is cousin Bill, on 5/1/13 from Palmer, MI. May you rest in peace.
Erick was my father’s cousin who I remember to be a very kind man and full of life. He was a great storyteller and always loved to hear and share stories about family. I will remember Erick fondly and know that he has reunited with his family.
Erick was my very dear friend. He had such a sharp memory and knew many people’s birthdates and ages. He had sisu! He was funny and kind. I miss him very much .
Erick was my cousin and I only remember him as a youth for after that I lost track of him. He was a handsome young man with good manners who always had a shy smile on his face. He was quiet and a very hard worker. From his father John he learned how to be a lumberjack and from his mother Vieno he learned love. I know he served his country well. He will be missed.
Today would be your 75th birthday. I will miss not calling you to wish you a Happy Birthday and remembering fun times with all the cousins at Grandma’s Shag Lake Camp. May you rest in peace.Joan Tuoriniemi
