Emma Roberts

Resided in Eau Claire, WI
Died February 2, 2024
Emma Margaret Roberts passed away February 2nd, 2024 surrounded by unconditional love and support. She entered her new heavenly home and joined her husband, Roy Roberts, her parents, brother Kenny, and loving dog Teddy.
She left behind two brothers, James Eckwright, and Roger Eckwright, a son Cory (Heather) Roberts, and two daughters Hope (Mike) Anderson, Olivia (Shane) Smith. As well as Grandkids Alicia Traxler, Chelsea Moyle, Cody Roberts, Dymond Anderson, Faith Hoholick, Hunter Anderson, Rosalynn Smith, Riley Smith, and Isabelle Roberts. Nine great grandkids and her puppy, Gizzmo.
She was born and raised in Eau Claire Wisconsin and lived there until she met her husband Roy Roberts at a roller rink in Kenosha on a bet. She loved adventure and she joined Roy on the best one starting that day.
She was devoted to her church and family. One of her favorite things to do was to bring her family to church and spread the word of God into their hearts. She loved singing in the string band with her fellow church members and going on trips with them as well.
Traveling was a huge part of her life. Her and her husband went to quite a few different places, Florida, Texas, Vegas, Virginia, and Nashville to name a few.
She hosted Camp 7 alongside Roy for many years, where her Grandkids spent many summers making memories with them. Riding bikes, fishing, Johnny Cash by the fire, catching frogs, and making forts. She was with for every part.
With the many memories she made with everyone, there are pictures to go with. Emma loved the camera and being silly whenever she got the chance. We are very thankful she captured every moment she could.
Forgiving, fearless, devoted, caring, and generous are the best words to describe Emma. She’d cut in front of you in line to get on the roller coaster first, but she’d also give the shirt off her back if you were in need. The world is a little dimmer without her around, but Heaven is brighter with her there.
“Hey Emma, Miami!” -Lois
Services will be held at the Salvation Army on Friday, February 9th at 3:00pm, meal to follow.
The Roberts family is being assisted by the Skradski Funeral Home in Escanaba.

Emma was such a beautiful soul. In the short time I’ve known her, she brought so much happiness & joy. I will miss her dearly.

I met Emma 50 years ago when her then boyfriend and fiancée, Roy asked me to sing at their wedding. They were the best of friends ever since. It would be hard to find a more loyal friend than Emma. She will be greatly missed. However, Emma knew the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal savior. Therefore I know without a doubt that we will meet again. Enjoy Heaven, sister! Say hi to Roy for me. See ya one day soon!

I didn’t know you but I knew of you and the love surrounding you. Thank you for taking that trip with Cody, Natalie, Calum, Nicole, and Elliana. Nicole told me all about it so that I feel like I was in the car with y’all. Safe passage to your Heavenly home. All the big hugs and prayers to your family and friends.

Emma was a great woman with the biggest heart. She had an art of making you feel loved and would tease anyone, no one was safe from her pranks.

    Hope, Cory, Olivia

Our thoughts and prayers are with you
    during this time.

We met at the Silverwind Church. She loved music. We praised Jesus together in songs. So very positive. Always a smile.

We visited at Camp 7, chased Teddy around the Lake. Chopped firewood. She was so good to us.

Saw her a short time ago and expressed my love. Didnt even realize she was headed home. Dear Emma thank you for having confidence in me. I will see you again for sure in Heaven. Love Paul and Peter Strom
