Elvira Swanson (Wallenslager) 94, passed away Thursday October 16, 2008 after a recent illness. Elvira was born in Wallace, MI the daughter of Theodore and Mary (Christiansen) Wallenslager, and she was raised in Wallace. She was married to the late Irving Swanson for 53 years, and resided in Gladstone where they raised 3 daughters.
Jane Healy (deceased), Patsy Gereau of Mancato, MN, and Jacqueline (Jerry) Hill of Wyandotte, MI. Elvira is survived by 9 grandchildren, 1 of whom preceded her in death, 25 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her siblings.
