Elizabeth Ann Spaulding, age 65, of 10570 N. Main Street in Rapid River passed away Saturday, October 23, 2010 at the St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba.
Elizabeth was born April 5, 1945 in Escanaba. She was united in marriage to Edward Spaulding on July 23, 1966 in Gladstone. Elizabeth worked for Les Brown’s and the Johnson Lumber Company in Hermansville as well as the Sidetrack Bar and Grill in Powers. She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Edward Spaulding of Rapid River, three brothers, Thomas Burke of Ainsworth, Nebraska, Ben (Mary) Deneau of Cedar Lake, Indiana and Albert Micheau of Escanaba; one sister, Kathleen Burke of Escanaba and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Schofield.
Memorial services for Elizabeth will be held on Tuesday, October 26 at 5:00 PM at the New Horizons Free Methodist Church in Gladstone with Pastor Frank Scarcelli officiating. A luncheon will follow services in the church fellowship hall. The Spaulding family is being assisted by the Skradski-Boyce Family Funeral Homes of Delta County.
